¡Bienamados en el Señor, padres, hermanos y hermanas!

Os dirijo mis mejores deseos en ocasión de la celebración de nuestra saludable fe en Jesús Cristo Dios y hombre, de la fiesta grande de su muy gloriosa Natividad en carne. El misterio del amor divino por el género humano es inconcebible e impenetrable. Cristo Salvador nace en nuestro mundo sin refugio y agriado con el fin de unir lo terrestre con lo celeste, a fin de que cada uno y cada una de entre nosotros haya la posibilidad de encontrar su camino hacia la casa del Padre Celestial. A los que le han recibido, escribe el santo Apóstol Juan el Teólogo, a los que crean en su nombre, ha dado poder de convertirse en hijos de Dios. (Jn 1, 12).

Este don inestimable de la filiación divina nos es dada no porque lo hubiéramos merecido, no gracias a nuestros esfuerzos o nuestras obras, sino porque el Señor, a pesar de nuestro pecado y nuestra indignidad, continua amándonos. Y además nos hemos alejado y entumecido, mas este amor es fuerte e inquebrantable.

He aquí el porqué la gran fiesta de la Navidad del Cristo es vivida por nosotros como un don inmerecido, como un milagro inconcebible del amor divino; es vivida con unos sentimientos de esperanza de salud y de reconciliación con Dios y de alegría que nadie ni nada puede quitarnos. Os deseo a todos, mis muy queridos, que recibáis esta fiesta grande con gran piedad y dignidad.
Doblemos las rodillas de nuestros corazones delante de Cristo Hijo de Dios y, cada uno según sus medios, sirvámosle y obremos para Él.

En nuestra diócesis, el año 2006 transcurrido ha estado marcado por numerosos acontecimientos. En febrero, hemos celebrado solemnemente los 77 años de nuestra Iglesia Catedral de los Tres Santos Doctores en París. Este jubileo no sólo nos ha recordado las etapas y los primeros pasos del camino histórico recorrido por nuestra diócesis, sino que además ha mostrado el presente, mientras que el tiempo del renacimiento espiritual ha venido a Rusia, y el tiemo ha venido igualmente para la unión espiritual de todos los hijos de la Iglesia Ortodoxa Rusa que se encuentran dispersos. El tiempo ha venido para superar las divisiones unidas a las consecuencias de la revolución y de la guerra civil fratricida.

En su providencia, el Señor me ha juzgado digno de formar parte en el proceso histórico del restablecimiento de la unidad canónica y eucarística de la Iglesia Ortodoxa Rusa en calidad de presidente de la comisión del Patriarcado de Moscú en las negociaciones con la comisión análoga de la Iglesia Rusa en el Exilio. El proceso de negociaciones ha terminado en líneas generales, y con la firma del "Acta de restablecimiento de la unidad canónica" se puede esperar que en 2007 celebremos al Señor con una sola voz y con un solo corazón y podamos comulgar con un solo Cáliz.

Con la ayuda de Dios, se organiza la vida eclesial en los países de Europa Occidental en donde se encuentran las parroquias de nuestra diócesis. Nuevas parroquias han sido abiertas, nuevos clérigos han sido ordenados. Nuestro trabajo pastoral no cesa de crecer y hemos decidido, a fin de hablar de las cuestiones esenciales, organizar a principios de noviembre de 2007, un congreso diocesano en el que tomarán parte los clérigos y representantes de todas las parroquias de la diócesis de Corsún.

Que el Señor nos traiga a todos su ayuda salvadora en nuestros trabajos por la Santa Iglesia, por la construcción y la renovación del hombre interior invisiblemente renovado por el Espíritu Santo a imagen de su Creador. (Col 3, 10).

¡Os dirijo, una vez más, mis mejores deseos en ocasión de la fiesta de la Natividad del Cristo y del nuevo año que viene!

Que la gracia de el que ahora nace de la Virgen, el Señor Jesucristo, sea con todos vosotros.

Рождественское послание архиепископа Корсунского Иннокентия
Возлюбленные о Господе отцы, братия и сестры!

От всего сердца поздравляю всех вас с торжеством нашей спасительной веры в Богочеловека Иисуса Христа, с великим праздником Его преславного Рождества по плоти.Непостижима и неисследима тайна Божественной любви к человеческому роду. Христос Спаситель рождается в нашем бесприютном и ожесточенном мире для того, чтобы соединить земное и небесное, чтобы каждый и каждая из нас имели возможность найти свою дорогу в дом Небесного Отца. Тем, которые приняли Его, – пишет св. апостол Иоанн Богослов, – верующим во имя Его, Он дал власть быть чадами Божиими… (Ин. 1, 12)
И этот бесценный дар Богосыновства дается нам не потому, что мы его чем-то заслужили, не благодаря нашим усилиям и трудам, а потому, что Господь, несмотря на наше грехопадение и недостоинство, продолжает любить нас. И чем больше отчуждение и косность человека, тем сильнее и непоколебимее эта любовь.
Поэтому великий праздник Рождества Христова переживается нами как незаслуженный дар, как чудо непостижимой Божией любви, переживается с чувствами надежды на спасение и примирение с Богом и радости – той, которую никто и ничто не может у нас отнять. Желаю всем Вам, дорогие, во всяком благочестии и чистоте встретить этот великий праздник. Преклоним перед Богомладенцем Христом колени нашего сердца, и каждый, чем может, послужим и поработаем Ему.
Для нашей епархии прошедший 2006 год был ознаменован многими событиями. В феврале мы торжественно праздновали 75-летие нашего кафедрального храма Трех Святителей в Париже. Этот юбилей не только напомнил нам этапы и вехи пройденного нашей епархией исторического пути, но показал, что теперь, когда настало время духовного возрождения России, настало время и духовного единения всех чад Русской Православной Церкви в рассеянии сущих. Настало время преодолеть разделения, связанные с последствиями революции и гражданской братоубийственной войны.
Промыслительно Господь судил мне принять участие в историческом процессе восстановления канонического и евхаристического единства Русской Православной Церкви, в качестве председателя комиссии Московского Патриархата на переговорах с аналогичной комиссией Русской Зарубежной Церкви. Переговорный процесс в целом завершен и с подписанием « Акта о восстановлении канонического единства» можно надеяться, что в 2007 году мы едиными усты и единым сердцем прославим Господа и сможем причаститься от единой Чаши. Обустраивается, с помощью Божией, церковная жизнь в тех странах Западной Европы, где находятся приходы нашей епархии. Открыты были новые приходы, рукоположены новые священнослужители. Объем нашей пастырской работы постоянно растет и мы решили для обсуждения насущных вопросов созвать в первых числах ноября 2007 г. Епархиальные съезд, на который приедут клирики и представители всех приходов Корсунской епархии.
Да подаст всем нам Господь свою спасительную помощь в наших трудах на благо Святой Церкви, для созидания и обновления внутреннего человека невидимо обновляемого Духом Святым по образу Создавшего его. (Кол. 3, 9)
Паки и паки поздравляю вас с праздником Рождества Христова и наступившим Новолетием! Благодать Родившегося ныне от Девы Господа нашего Иисуса Христа да пребывает со всеми Вами.

Message de Noël de l'archevêque Innocent de Chersonèse

Bien-aimés dans le Seigneur, pères, frères et sœurs !Je vous adresse mes voeux cordiaux à l’occasion de la célébration de notre foi salutaire en Jésus Christ le Dieu et homme, de la grande fête de Sa très glorieuse Nativité dans la chair.Le mystère de l’amour divin pour le genre humain est inconcevable et impénétrable. Le Christ Sauveur naît dans notre monde sans abri et aigri afin d’unir le terrestre et le céleste, afin que chacun et chacune d’entre nous ait la possibilité de trouver son chemin vers la maison du Père Céleste. A ceux qui L’ont reçu, écrit le saint Apôtre Jean le Théologien, à ceux qui croient en Son nom, Il a donné le pouvoir de devenir enfants de Dieu. (Jn 1, 12).
Ce don inestimable de la filiation divine nous est donné non pas parce que nous l’aurions mérité, non pas grâce à nos efforts ou nos œuvres, mais parce que le Seigneur, malgré notre péché et notre indignité, continue à nous aimer. Et plus nous sommes éloignés et engourdis, plus cet amour est fort et inébranlable.
Voilà pourquoi la grande fête de la Nativité du Christ est vécue par nous comme un don immérité, comme un miracle inconcevable de l’amour divin ; elle est vécue avec des sentiments d’espérance de salut et de réconciliation avec Dieu et de joie que personne et rien ne peut nous enlever.Je vous souhaite à tous, mes très chers, d’accueillir cette grande fête en toute piété et dignité. Plions les genoux de nos cœurs devant le Christ Enfant Dieu, et, chacun selon ses moyens, servons Le et oeuvrons pour Lui.
Pour notre diocèse, l’année 2006 écoulée a été marquée par de nombreux événements. En février, nous avons solennellement fêté les 75 ans de notre Eglise Cathédrale des Trois Saints Docteurs à Paris. Ce jubilé ne nous a pas seulement rappelé les étapes et les jalons du chemin historique parcouru par notre diocèse, mais a montré qu’à présent, alors que le temps de la renaissance spirituelle est venu pour la Russie, le temps est également venu pour l’union spirituelle de tous les enfants de l’Eglise Orthodoxe Russe qui se trouvent en dispersion. Le temps est venu de surmonter les divisions liées aux conséquences de la révolution et de la guerre civile fratricide.
Dans Sa providence, le Seigneur m’a jugé digne de prendre part au processus historique du rétablissement de l’unité canonique et eucharistique de l’Eglise Orthodoxe Russe en qualité de président de la commission du Patriarcat de Moscou dans les négociations avec la commission analogue de l’Eglise Russe Hors Frontières. Le processus de négociations est en gros terminé et avec la signature de l’ « Acte de rétablissement de l’unité canonique, on peut espérer qu’en 2007 nous célébrerons le Seigneur d’une seule voix et d’un seul cœur et pourrons communier d’un seul Calice.
Avec l’aide de Dieu, s’organise la vie ecclésiale dans ceux des pays de l’Europe Occidentale où se trouvent les paroisses de notre diocèse. De nouvelles paroisses ont été ouvertes, de nouveaux clercs ont été ordonnés. Notre travail pastoral ne cesse de grandir et nous avons décidé, afin de discuter des questions essentielles, d’organiser au début de novembre 2007, un congrès diocésain auquel viendront prendre part les clercs et des représentants de toutes les paroisses du diocèse de Chersonèse.
Que le Seigneur nous apporte à tous Son aide salvatrice dans nos travaux pour la Sainte Eglise, pour la construction et le renouvellement de l’homme intérieur invisiblement renouvelé par le Saint Esprit à l’image de son créateur. (Col. 3, 10).
Encore et encore je vous adresse tous mes meilleurs voeux à l’occasion de la fête de la Nativité du Christ et de la Nouvelle Année qui vient !
Que la grâce de Celui qui maintenant naît de la Vierge, le Seigneur Jésus Christ soit avec vous tous.

THE CHRISTMAS MESSAGE OF ARCHBISHOP INNOKENTY OF KORSUN, TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DIOCESE OF SOUROZH, TO THE ARCHPASTORS, PASTORS AND ALL FAITHFUL CHILDREN OF THE DIOCESE OF SOUROZH

Dearly beloved in the Lord, Archpastors, pastors and all faithful children of the Diocese of Sourozh! I greet you with spiritual joy and I offer all of you my heartfelt congratulations on the bright and saving feast of the coming into the world of Christ our Saviour – the Nativity of Christ. Through His Incarnation, through taking upon Himself the form of man for the salvation of the world from sin and death, Our Lord gave each of us the possibility of choosing the path of following Him. This path is not easy, sometimes indeed it seems impossibly difficult. Those, however, who do follow Him receive in abundance the grace of God, which is given to all who struggle to attain unto life eternal.
The highest meaning of God’s Incarnation is the revelation of His love for the world and for man. The ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh spoke thus about the feast of Christmas: “Christ has revealed to us the humility and the love of God, God’s faith in the whole creation, in us sinners, fallen ones, and at the same time He has shown how great we can be, and how deep, how unfathomably deep is the Lord’s creation”.
Nothing can darken the joy of this great feast, nothing should draw us away from glorifying God, Who has come down into our world in order to raise us up to Himself –even though, as you all know, the year that is passing has not been easy and has brought us many anxieties and much pain. Regardless of the fact that some have left our Diocese of Sourozh, its life continues as before in all its fullness. We do not condemn or reproach anyone; we love everyone and are ready to take them into our hearts. Love, after all, is that quality which distinguishes the real Christians, those who want to become like unto the Lord. Christmas is perhaps the best occasion on which to exercise this great Christian virtue, which according to the words of the Apostle “never ceases”.
Every member of our multinational flock is equally dear to us. Differences of origin, culture, traditions and language do not divide, but rather enrich us. We are trying carefully to preserve the unique heritage of the founder of the Sourozh diocese, the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony, a heritage which we believe to be not only alive, but capable of producing a rich spiritual harvest.
During the past year we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God and All Saints. This was a clear demonstration of our loyalty to the Mother Church which also received the support and approval of the surrounding Christian world.
In His Providence, the Lord judged that I should take part in the historic process of the reestablishment of the canonical and eucharistic unity of the Russian Orthodox Church as the chairman of the Commission of the Moscow Patriarchate for dialogue with the corresponding Commission of the Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia. The negotiations are essentially complete and with the signing of the “Act of Reestablishment of Canonical Unity” one may hope that in 2007 we shall be able to glorify the Lord with one mouth and one heart and to take Holy Communion from one chalice.
Saint Gregory of Neocaesarea instructs us thus- ‘A great and most wonderful mystery do we see today, brethren! With shouts of joy shepherds appear as messengers to the sons of men ….Angels sing on high, Archangels chant hymns; the heavenly Cherubim and Seraphim proclaim in song the glory of God. All together celebrate the joyful feast, seeing God on earth and man taken up to heaven. Through the divine dispensation those on earth are lifted up to heaven; through the love of God for man those above come down to those below, for in His humility, the Most High “exalts the lowly”’.
Let us be humble of heart and loving towards all people, for God loves us. Let us follow in His footsteps – for He is the only Way that leads to eternal life.
